Out-Patient Treatment refers to medical care that doesn't require you to stay in a hospital overnight. Instead, you visit a healthcare facility (like a doctor's office, clinic, or outpatient department in a hospital) for your treatment or procedure and go home the same day.
Regular Doctor consultations and investigations or tests such as Blood Tests, X-Rays, ECGs, Ultrasound Scans and MRI & CT Scans that do not happen whilst hospitalised and occupying a bed in an In-Patient ward are all considered “Out-Patient Treatment”.
