When Does Travel Insurance Cover Trip Cancellation?

- Death of a Close Family Member – If a relative passes away before your trip.
- Unexpected Jury Duty or Court Summons – If you’re legally required to be present.
- Serious Home Damage – If your home is affected by fire, flood, or burglary before your trip.

When Am I NOT Covered for Trip Cancellation?
- If you simply change your mind about traveling.
- If you cancel due to work commitments or lack of leave approval.
- If the reason for cancellation was known before booking.
- If the airline or travel provider offers a refund or alternative trip.
What Costs Can I Claim?
- Pre-paid flights, hotels, and excursions that are non-refundable.
- Travel agency fees, if applicable.

How to Make a Claim?
- Cancel your booking with the airline/hotel and request any available refunds.
- Obtain proof regarding the reason for cancellation (medical certificates, airline confirmations, etc.).
